The infection control department‘s main goal is:
To reduce the risk of nosocomial infections among patients, staff and visitors.

The Infection Control Program is responsible for:
- Surveillance activities to assess current status
- Prevention activities to avoid spread of infections
- Control activities to monitor and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Education and training to hospital personnel

Infection Control Committee:
The Committee has a multidisciplinary representation to ensure that decisions are in the best interest of patient care. It sets hospital wide policies and standard procedures for patient care practices as well as occupational health issues.

- Infection Control Officer
- Nursing Director
- Operating Room Supervisor
- Laboratory Doctor
- Chairman of Anesthesia Department
